Full disclosure: I conducted this interview because I suffered the loss of my beloved companion, Lucky. This man helped me tremendously with the grieving process. It seems only fitting to write about someone that brings peace to so many.
Pet owners love to take pictures of their precious pets. Many love to dress them up in silly outfits. Most of us are guilty of showering our beloved pets with an overflowing, limitless amount of love. Too many of us ignore the fact that our fur babies are only here physically for a short amount of time. We can rationalize that they will someday leave their physical body, but no one is prepared to how actual gut wrenching it really is.
That's where Greywolf comes in. He helps owners overcome the loss of their pets. Greywolf is a Reiki Master and a certified hypnotherapist. He uses his skills to not only soothe a pet owner's heartbreak, but also make contact with their deceased pet.
Greywolf has his own personal story as to how he ended up in this job position. Several years ago he faced his own personal heartbreak when his little one passed on. His name was Frances and he was a lovely and spirited Bulldog. When Frances passed away, Greywolf instinctively understood, as he puts it in his own words,
"I knew we would stay in contact."
Greywolf's philosophy is based on his studies and his intuitive nature. After Frances departed from his body, Greywolf decided to take a closer look as to what energy really is.
Energy consists of vibrations and frequencies, therefore, energy does not cease to exist because the physical body can no longer contain its energy.
Greywolf wanted to test out this theory and went into a deep meditated state. While he was there, he saw his beloved pet Frances running up to him and nip him twice on the ear.
The connection was overwhelming and beautiful and he knew he could facilitate other pet owners to have the same experience.
During one of his sessions one can begin to heal. Greywolf makes it clear to the individual that there is no shame to mourn over the loss of their pet. Many people that are not pet owners do not comprehend what a person goes through when they lose their little buddy. Greywolf creates a safe safe where these feelings are validated and once they are, the healing can begin. As Greywolf guides his clients into a mediated state, they are able to reconnect with their pets. Most clients feel an overwhelming sense of love when their pet visits. As Greywolf explains, pets are like small children and loving one's pet produces the hormone Oxytocin, the love hormone. Not only do pet owners emotionally mourn for their pet, but their body mourns for them as well. The physical loss, of the cuddle hormone has devastating affects on the body. Greywolf states that when a beloved pet passes away, the owner suffers not only due to the loss, but also because of the structure the pet provided in an owner's life. He or she will feel an imbalance in their lives and Greywolf explains how the loss of a pet will leave holes in the energy field of a pet owner. This is where the final step in the healing process can take place.
NEW LOVE
It is crucial to get a new pet. The void that the previous pet has left has to be filled in order to restore balance in a pet owner's life. Greywolf understands that not everyone is on board with this. Too many pet owners find it too daunting to get another pet after the heartbreaking experience of losing their fur-baby. Others worry that they are betraying their former pet if they go out and get a new animal. On the contrary, Greywolf insists if you move forward with the steps that he has provided, you will be pleasantly surprised.
When Greywolf was ready to love again, he came across a Bulldog that needed a forever home. Upon meeting her, she playfully nipped him twice on the ear, just like Frances did when he went into his mediated state. Greywolf knew she was the one. He named her Liza, yes like Liza Minnelli.
You see, it is imperative that after Greywolf assists a pet owner to make a connection with their deceased pet, that they bring a new pet into their life. That enables the former pet to mesh energies with the new pet. Dogs especially like to wait for another connection, they will hang around to see if they can infuse themselves with the new pet. As Greywolf puts it, the former pet's energy piggybacks off the new pet's physical body. The pets intertwine their frequencies and energies and happily co-exist in the physical realm. Pets tends to show their masters signs that they are still with them through the new pet. Greywolf reminds pet owners that although their former pet's energy is in the new pet, nevertheless, it is the new pet's time in the light.
Greywolf has had many instances where pet owners are so taken aback when they make a connection with their deceased pet, that they want to continue making appointments with him to relive the experience. Greywolf makes it clear that he provides a service as an act of love, therefore, once he assists in the healing of a client, no other session is needed. He makes sure to provide his clients with the tools they need to connect with their pets anytime they want. Too some, it might sound a bit far-fetched, but previous pet owners who have had sessions with Greywolf can attest that pets stick around for the long haul. They're not leaving. Look for signs or just close your eyes and feel.
